OUT AND ABOUT

Bronte Parsonage Museum and the church dedicated to St Michael and All Angels are well worth a visit and very close to the cottage. The historic Main Street of Haworth with its shops, many tea rooms, pubs and restaurants is also close by.
The steam railway is at the bottom of the hill, the trains regularly run to Oxenhope and Keighley.

There are many lovely walks in this area such as Penistone Hill, Bronte Falls and Top Withins (Wuthering Heights). The Pennine Way can be joined 2 miles away.

Further afield are the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Malham and Wycoller (the ruined manor house was supposedly the inspiration for Mr Rochesters house in Jane Eyre) and many more.
